Denver's first day of September is pretty cool, thanks to some rain yesterday.

Did you manage to catch the Star Wars dispay show at the Westminster Mall? It's at the Sears court.

Burlington Coat Factory store will perhaps not be moving into the mall, according to some local papers. Well, maybe someone else will then.

For Labor Day, Party Cloz and Brides Dreams will be open until 6PM on Monday Sept 4. Have a good, fun, safe long weekend!

Squidoo Lens Created

(Friday Aug. 18, 06) A “lens” was created at the Squidoo site. We found that the Squidoo’s lens concept is interesting and gave it a try. Please suggest what you would like to see on this lens (or maybe “through” this lens?) The Map section does not work correctly yet so we just took it off for now.

Anyway, it’s Friday after all. It gets a bit cooler around here in Denver, so the morning ride was nice. Have a great weekend!

(Thursday Aug. 17, 06) A general guideline about dress sizing was written and pointed to from our main page. Hope it’ll help clarifying some selecting issues. We’ve seen quite a few zippers broken already.

Some minor modifications were done to the Useful Sites sections to eliminate the sites that stopped linking back to us. Almost all of them did not notify us prior to removing our links on their sites. We’d like to think that they did it unintentionally!

Vintage Car Show

The Model A Ford Club vintage cars are here at the Westminster Mall! In front of our store are some pickups, dated back in the late 20' - early 30'. In fact, the dark green pickup which is nearest to our store, is a 1929 Roadster Pickup. The one next to it is a 1930. Man, these cars are OLD! But what cool is, they still look great. And probably drive OK too, because they were driven here (supposedly).

Among the personal favorites, is a cream/brownish 1929 Cabriolet convertible. This car looks quite sporty.

Her is a picture of the pickup (with Party Cloz shop in the background).

What's Happening?

Onece in a while we post about what's happening around our business, at the mall, etc.

As of August, it is believed that Burlington Coat Factory will be moving into the space which used to be Mervyn's in the Westminster Mall. A few months ago, Mervyn's closed down many of their stores nationalwide.

The moving date is not known yet although Burlington has hiring signs posted at the mall already.

We feel that Burlington will bring in some fresh air and different styles of shopping and products into our area.
